Another good night despite the fine drizzle from midnight.
70+ species with a Ghost Moth being the highlight.
Without checking, I think this is my 3rd record.

A Herald wasn't expected, although it was a little beaten up, and a third Schoenobius gigantella was in the trap.
36 Riband Wave is an all time high.

16th Aug '12 ... Purple Bar brings up the 200

Warm, with the odd light shower, becoming windier throughout the night.
Purple Bar, 1752 Cosmohoe ocellata, brought up the 200th garden macro for the year and a year first 1138 Epinotia nisella was added to the micro list for 2012.

A few more newcomers for the year were recorded last night, Dot Moth, Double Square-spot, Elephant Hawk-moth, Bordered Pug, Dwarf Cream Wave, Middle-barred Minor, Toadflax Pug and Least Carpet.
Epiblema uddmanniana was the latest micro....is it still an Epiblema ? The new micro book has thrown me a bit !
