This is a scarce moth in my garden with only one or two previous records.
The previous evening (21st) a Small Magpie, Eurrhypara hortulata, was a very late record, the flight period normally ends in July.

Not much to get the pulse started around the traps.
Lunar Underwing numbers hit an all-time garden high with 32, (20 and 12 in the two traps)
Plenty of Large Yellow Underwing still, looking a little jaded and Pale Mottled Willow numbers are increasing.
A Least Carpet was a surprise catch as I thought they had finished weeks ago.
