5 moths of 5 species in and around garden traps last night. A mild night but blowing a gale with some rain thrown in for good measure, so it was good to rack up another garden first.

LESSER YELLOW UNDERWING.......... still they come !

Excellent - I'm going to keep running the trap on dry nights to try and get Sprawler again - not had one in the garden since 2001 (or December Moth).
ReplyDeleteWe don't get Sprawlers up here :( plenty of December Moths though :)
ReplyDeleteEveryone gets December Moth around these parts except me ! So my trap is staying on. I got a fleeting glimpse of one last year but too late to poke my Lumix in its face before it went over the neighbours wall.
