Overnight min. temp. 3.5 deg. Showers dying out, light breeze, chilly.
After the false start in March, April has certainly put the brakes on the mothing year.
Last April seems like a world away, when the traps were turning up the likes of Swallow Prominent, Nut-tree Tussock, Grey Dagger, Flame Shoulder, Sallow Kitten, Chocolate Tip and Lime Hawk-moth to name a few.
The forecast is similar for the rest of April so maybe a few hot days in early May will kick-start some action.
