6th June 2012 ... A high between the many lows

Min temp 11.4 deg. moderate breeze.
The Dells garden traps took advantage of the small June window of opportunity with a very good species list, 100 moths of 48 species.
Highlight was a Small Elephant Hawk-moth, the second record for this site.

    Thanks Ben.... it's the easiest way to do it, publish it and wait if you're not sure... plenty of expert eyes to correct the mistakes. It was the dot on the thorax that looked like a wormwood.
    I'll publish a real one soon, I get both Wormwood and Currant in the garden, usually in some numbers....weather permitting, we've got gale force wind and rain as I type this.
    It IS June isn't it ??
