Maybe I'll send this to David Manning to forward on to the "Fly man" from the leafminers site.

I got lucky, found an image on the net.It's Gooseberry Sawfly, Nematus ribesii.Thanks for steering me in the right direction Skev, I could have spent hours looking at micro larvae !
