Prevailing cold NE wind for the rest of the week at least.
My mothing evening starts with an early dusk check of the garden shed.
As the light fades, I usually find a few micros on the inside of the shed windows, particularly Mompha species at the moment, and the inevitable White-shouldered House-moth, which are then potted up, checked and released the following morning after taking photos of a selected few and retaining unidentified moths for the county recorder.
Last nights shed check produced 3 x White-shouldered House-moths and Mompha subbistrigella..
