A nice little micro appeared on the patio window this afternoon, before it started to pee it down.
746 Chrysoesthia drurella ... I have noticed some mines on the garden Goosefoot, ( Chenopodium ) but nice to find the adult..........
Well I got the adult right, but the mine is a fly mine !
Cheers Andy...

Haworth's Pug was recorded, a site first for the garden, but surely overlooked in the past......
No traps tonight, too wet, but a micro drifted past my PC screen and landed on the curtain.
It's an Oegoconia and past gen. dets. have proven to be O. caradjai.
However, this one looks different, the patches are not as brassy as caradjai and it is a little smaller.
My guess is O. quadripuncta....
One more for Mr Manning !

I seem to be getting more "year first" moths without the traps....
Aphelia paleana (Timothy Tortrix), found in the outside loo.
