A stiff breeze and a fullish moon, 12 deg min.
Most of the catch was before 11pm when a big bright moon came into view and the wind speed increased.
A new for year Least Yellow Underwing was welcome as I haven't had anything to add to the flagging year list for a while.....

August update

It's been manic around the traps for the last two nights and I'm getting behind on my records. I still have a few micros to be ID'd so I'll just post some highlights for the 1st and 2nd Aug.
1st Aug...overnight min. temp. 16 degrees
2nd Aug.. "      "      "      "   15.2 degrees
both nights calm.

A year first Least Yellow Underwing on the 1st plus another Old Lady (still evading the camera !) Also a first for year Ypsophola sequella.

Last night (2nd) was even busier than the previous.
100+ Shuttle-shaped Darts were emptied from the traps for the second night running !
A garden first Webb's Wainscot was a good find alongside a year first Rosy Rustic in the BBQ area trap.

On the micro scene I found a garden first Skin Moth and a year first Rhyacionia pinicolana to add to the list.
