Another good mothing night with 44 species recorded icluding a new species for garden, Small Clouded Brindle (below)

It looks much more "tent shaped" than its normal flatter pose, this is because it is frozen.
I meant to leave it in the freezer for half a minute to calm it down for a photo ... but the phone rang !

The last night of good weather for a few days and a good variety was found in and around the traps including a year first Green Silver-lines, (below) ......

....but both traps were full of water at 06.00 hrs this morning !

It was the micros that grabbed the limelight last night, with 4 new ticks for the garden list.
I didn't get too involved with the micros last year so I am expecting quite a few common garden "firsts"
