30th May...All the "P's"

Three new ones for the garden and all beginning with "P".....Thought this was a Shark at first. But having never seen a Shark or a Pale Prominent before I enlisted the expertise of Andy & Melissa, who needed about 2 secs to tell me it was my first.....

29th May.....Minor Delay

28th May...Brace of Trebles

First nights trapping for 4 days, a little chilly at 8degC but landed 3 new garden species.

My 5th LIME HAWKMOTH....the presence of a huge nearby Lime tree may be the reason.

24/25 species of macro was a good tally for my small garden and only 3 species of micro which was a surprise as I was expecting many more.

23rd May..More confusion !!!

Here's two more from 23rd May that test my "L Plate" knowledge. The bottom pic is almost certainly a CAMPION (if that is wrong then shame on "wearethecampions")
But the top two pics (of the same moth) look a little different and it is either another CAMPION or could it be a LYCHNIS ?
