Another cold night at 7deg min. I don't know where Neil Diamond was when he sang about Hot August Nights, not in Biggleswade that's for sure !
A year first Frosted Orange was the highlight in the traps ...

The rest of the catch was made up of Copper Underwing, Marbled Beauty, Willow Beauty, Brimstone, Double-striped Pug, Shuttle-shaped Dart.

    Blimey that is chilly, although currently we are laying out by the pool in cloudy Croatia a mere 17 degrees at the moment. The moths are keeping me entertained...back on Saturday then its back to Autumn species, although its still mid summer species out here still. All the best.
