    Sorry to be picky Trent ;-)

    Your Pempelia formosa looks a bit Phycita roborella-ish to me. Also the straminella is a Crambus perlella f.warringtonellus.

    The wingspan was niggling me.....it always looked too big to be formosana, but I didn't check roborella.
    This one has a wing length of around 15mm so your ID is spot on, far too big to be P formosana.
    The crambus was jotted down on my notes as "perlella" but after looking at the pics on PC, I thought it must be straminella.
    I hadn't seen the form version.
    I will make the necessary alterations.
    Appreciate the help mate and enjoying your blog immensely, apart from some of the iffy music...there's no accounting for taste (^_*
