2437 GOLDEN PLUSIA
I had mixed feelings about last nights trappings.
The first trap situated near the house was utter carnage.
I don't know what attacked the contents, Hornet is the No. 1 suspect, but there was very little left in the trap except wingless bodies and corpses.
My disappointment turned to joy as the second trap, at the end of the garden, was inspected and the Golden Plusia was discovered.
Below ... a small part of the carnage.
Mostly Heart and Darts, but a Toadflax Brocade also fell victim ...
A Short-cloaked Moth, found on the wall near the trap, was a year first...
Nice Plusia!.......... would be new for my garden too
